Poetry Thursday

Kinda like refrigerator magnet poetry. Taking the list of the last six “Word of the Day” entries that pop up every morning on my web browser, here is what I came up with. The six words are in italics if you want to play too.

Stark and arid, stumbling in our obliquity

Grasping blindly for justice and boasting our ersatz righteousness

We declare our perennial self-approbation for all our actions boldly

As we grasp for gaudy baubles in the wasteland of our making

Disengaging from all reality, deluded by our grandness
